Ci-dessous un msg de TrollTech en réponse à mes interrogations concernant
l'état d'avancement des projets d'accessibilité des interfaces graphiques
sous lx. Apparemment les choses n'avancent pas bien vite mais comme c'est en
anglais je n'ai pas pu comprendre la réponse de TrollTech en détails. si
quelqu'un peut traduire en gros ? D'après ce que j'ai compris tou est encore
au stade des discussions. est-ce cela qui est dit ?

Salut Nath,

there isn't sufficient support for blind people on Unix/X11 desktops yet.
The first enabling technologies arrive (where the IBM/ViaVoice
text-to-speech
engine could be an important building stone), but things are not there yet.

There are projects going on to provide something similar to the narrator 
on MS-Windows. Just two weeks ago there was a conference where Trolltech,
KDE, Gnome and Sun developers met to discuss possible future standards.

I wouldn't hold my breath yet as it will take quite some time to develop and
implement standards, but people are definitely aware of the issues and
working
actively on solving them.
